About Me

I started this blog at in the summer of 2007 as the credit crisis loomed on the horizon, primarily as a vehicle for expressing my view that this crisis would be deep and that it would have a pronounced and prolonged impact on our markets and the economy.

Although this became a reality, I am nevertheless optimistic about the American economy in the long term. This optimism and my incessant curiosity often brings my attention to innovation.

As a result, I have become immersed in technology and social-media over the last few years and hope to be for the foreseeable future.

In my professional life, I am working at an investment firm in NYC after completing my JD-MBA at Harvard in 2009. I also seek to be a student of life more generally. I also have a bad habit of constantly trying to predict the future, which materializes in investing and pontification.
